Den 17. Maj hölls en akvarellstafett på Korpúlfsstaðir. Akvarellstafett handlar om att skicka ett ord som väljs av deltagare mellan de nordiska länderna och är ordet som väljs som en källa för nästa deltagare. Pive från Finland skickade bilder online från sista stafett, de hade fått ordet “Spor” och vi började dagen med att titta hur de hade löst spor projektet. De skickade okså ett ord til oss, det var ordet “Profil”. Vi startade profil-projektet och målade med små kaffepauser och dagen gick fort. En deltagere hade tagit med sig alla akvarellprover från Daniel Smith, färger från USA, som vi fick prova. Innan vi sluttade valde vi en bild från varje deltagare och ett ord som skal skickas vidare til nästa akvarellstafett. Alltid kul att måla i bra sällskap.
On the 17th of May we held “watercolour relay” at Korpúlfsstaðir. A word is chosen by participants to be sent on to the next relay for painting inspiration. Pive from Finland had sent us the word “Profile” from the previous relay along with photos of how they had interpreted their word which was “Traces”. After having a look at these photos we went on painting only interrupted by brief coffee breaks. One of the participants had brought samples of watercolour paint from the American company Daniel Smith for all to try. By the end of the day we chose an image from each participant and a word to be passed on to the next relay. Always fun to spend time painting in good company.
